Saturday and Sunday lessons are in full swing. Please call at least a day ahead to schedule your lesson.
With the holidays approaching we will NOT have lessons on November 26, 27 (Thanksgiving holidays), December 24, 25 (Christmas) or December 31 and January 1 (New Year's). All other weekends until 2012 lessons will be held.
Keep these dates in mind: Aldine athletes - February 3, 2012 - Aldine FFA Livestock Show. All athletes - February 17, 18, and 19, 2012 - Top Hands Horse Show. Please note, athletes planning to compete at Top Hands MUST have the HLS&R physical completed by a physician and returned to Sanna NO LATER THAN January 15. PLEASE, athletes let Sanna know prior to Christmas if you DO NOT intend to compete at the Top Hands Horse Show so that she can submit appropriate paperwork to the show committee allowing them to plan more accurately.
Funding update:
PLEASE Remember our horses at Christmas. Your gift will help greatly. $10 is the cost of one worming for one horse -- horses are wormed 6 times each year. $16 buys a bag of feed -- one bag feeds 8 horses for one day. $20 will pay the light or water bill for one month. $30 pays for the hay for one horse for one month. $35 is the cost of trimming the hooves of one horse one time -- this is done every 6 weeks all year round. $112 will pay for the portable toilet for 4 weeks. $125 pays for the annual well horse check up for one horse.

ALL CHANGES must be made BEFORE January 1, 2012. Therefore, please let Sanna Roling KNOW by December 1, 2011 so that the necessary paperwork can be completed.
ALL RIDERS MUST have a HLS&R Medical Form signed by a doctor to me by January 10, 2012 at the VERY LATEST. This is an HLS&R REQUIREMENT.
Anyone failing to turn this form in to me by the deadline will be dropped from the competition by HLS&R.
